This ring takes us to the remote oasis of Dalhousie Springs on the edge of the Simpson Desert. The tree-lined mineral hot springs are located off the beaten track 350km north of Coober Pedy.
This opal doublet ring is from the heart of the Australian outback and was mined at Coober Pedy, South Australia. This sterling silver bezel ring features a beautiful Australian doublet opal and has dominant colour of blue, with flashes of pink, yellow and green. Stone has good brightness with a lovely pattern throughout.
Opal doublets are a slice of crystal or light opal assembled to a black backing which imitates a natural black opal. This type of opal has fabulous bright and vivid look without the black opal price tag.
